How to format on XP/2003/Longhorn

1. Firstly, you will need to backup everything via floppy disk/CD-ROM or network

2. This method is much easier and quicker than previous Windows versions providing your CD is bootable

3. You will need to tell your BIOS to boot from CD before HDD, press delete after the memory test and the option should be in the Advanced options

4. Load the computer up with the Windows CD and you should get a message that says "Press any key to boot from CD"

5. By pressing a key at this stage should load Windows Setup, if you do not get this option then your CD is not bootable

6. Follow the instructions carefully and if your using a NT platform, I would use NTFS as your filesystem
